Annelise is a graduate of UC Davis who also holds a master’s degree in education leadership and supervision from Chapman University. She was a K-12 educator in her native California as well as in Virginia. Beginning in 2005, she helped create and open the Charlottesville Day School where she held roles ranging from Assistant Head of School to Teacher and throughout her tenure focused on teacher supervision and evaluation, curriculum development, admissions, operations and marketing. Her first position with the College Foundation was a contract assignment to manage the launch of the Faculty Forward Campaign. In 2014, the Foundation created the Prospect Management position to better support our development officers and asked Annelise to return to the Foundation to build that function. She excelled in that role and has expanded our capabilities further through the talents of the team she leads. Most recently, Annelise moved into the position of Associate Vice President, Development Services.
