Director for the Education Vertical, LinkedIn
Jessica Naeve joined LinkedIn in March of 2015 as its first Director for the Education Vertical. She comes to LinkedIn with over 15 years of digital media experience. Most recently, she was a Partner and head of the digital and technology practice at DeSilva+Phillips, a tech and media-focused investment bank in New York City. There she worked on dozens of deals in her 7+ year-tenure, including transactions with The New York Times Company, [x+1], TripAdvisor, Microsoft, Deloitte, and Condé Nast. Prior to D+P, Jessica was in charge of new media development for About.com, a NY Times Company, where she launched and ran the site’s online video business. Previous experience includes Director of Strategy and Finance at Primedia. Jessica was a founder of Sessions.edu, the first online school for Web, Graphic and Multimedia Design where she grew the business through 3 rounds of funding and accreditation to profitability. She began her career at Monitor Company as a strategy consultant and holds a BA from Harvard College as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School. Jessica is a member of the Hearing Health Foundation board of directors as well as a RedBadge Venture Partner.
