Chief People Officer, Hubspot
Katie Burke is the Chief People Officer at HubSpot, where she oversees the company’s global recruiting, learning and development, culture, and human resources teams as the company continues to grow and enter new markets.
Under her leadership, HubSpot has received culture commendations from Entrepreneur, The Boston Globe, Glassdoor, and the Boston Business Journal, and Katie’s work on diversity and inclusion has earned HubSpot honors on Fortune’s Best Places to Work for Women and Comparably’s Top Companies for Women and Diversity. Katie played an integral role in the company’s initial public offering, and HubSpot has been widely lauded by investors for growing 30+% year over year while expanding into new global markets and recruiting exceptional talent.
Prior to holding marketing and HR leadership roles at HubSpot, Katie ran Marketing and Corporate Partnerships for Athlete’s Performance (now EXOS), and served as a Director at the Glover Park Group, overseeing account management and business development.
She was named Emerging Executive of the Year in 2017 by the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council, one of Boston’s Top Women in Tech by Accomplice Ventures, and has been featured in the Harvard Business Review, the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, and Business Insider on topics ranging from company culture to career growth to diversity and inclusion. She serves as an advisor at Flybridge Capital and on the board of the New England Sports Museum.
She has an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, a BA in American Studies from Bates College.
