Before returning to her alma mater of NMH six years ago, Laurel worked as Assistant Director of the Annual Fund at Scripps College in Claremont, California. Prior to Scripps, Laurel worked for the Mortimer and Mimi Levitt Foundation, based in Los Angeles, which supports access to free live music across America. When Laurel is not traveling on behalf of NMH or to an international yoga retreat or half marathon, she resides in southern New Hampshire, where she is originally from. In her local community, Laurel serves on the Board of Directors for the Camp Takodah YMCA and is a member of the Greater Keene Rotaract Club of Rotary International.
