Associate Vice President of Strategic Communications, Kansas State University Foundation
With more than 20 years of experience in higher education communications, Susan Wolf Berhow has focused her career on using marketing and communication to increase engagement between the university and its key audiences. In her role as associate vice president for strategic communications, she has modernized the KSU Foundation’s communications of writers, designers and video producers and launched a brand platform illustrating the impact of philanthropy and the value the organization delivers to Kansas State University. She enjoys developing innovative creative solutions that help fuel KSU Foundation’s philanthropic success.
Susan began her career in higher education at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, where she launched and edited the university’s first magazine. She has written for four university presidents and has developed communications for every major university audience, including prospective students and their families, currents students, faculty/staff, community members, legislators, corporate partners and foundations, alumni and donors.
Susan holds a master’s degree public relations from Kansas State University’s A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications and a bachelor’s degree in communication from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
