Ryan serves as assistant vice president of development and alumni engagement at The New School, a university in New York City. In this role, he helps oversee a $40 million fundraising division, including the operations and strategic planning of five different departments spanning information services, reporting and analytics, prospect development, stewardship and donor communications.
Prior to joining The New School, Ryan managed data analytics for Barnard College’s Office of Development and Alumnae Affairs, and advised the college’s associate vice president on data and business process solutions. Previously, he was lead software application consultant at Ellucian and was a major gift officer at The George Washington University.
Ryan holds an MA in higher education administration from The George Washington University and a BA in political science from The College of Wooster.
